Fully equipped, specialist service vans ensure that we can perform essential maintenance and repairs onsite, to quickly have you back up and running and minimise downtime to your operations.

Load Bank Testing

As a standby generator is not expected to run excessive hours during its lifetime, a load bank test can be very beneficial to help keep the condition of the generator to a high standard. The benefits of load bank testing include:

  • Proves the running capacity of the generator
  • Cleans the generator of all unburnt fuel and carbons from the engine
  • Reduces the potential risk of generator failure in the case of an emergency

Customer Support Fleet

Our expanding customer support fleet supplies temporary power for our customers' critical needs – for either routine maintenance or during an emergency.  Our customer support fleet is available for prime or standby power with accompanying fuel tanks and cabling.  As part of the package, we can undertake the delivery, installation and setting to work of the system.

Fuel System Modernisation

With industry regulations continually changing, we are able to modernise fuel systems to ensure compliance with current standards. The current regulations state that any fuel storage container over 200 litres must be bunded. This is to prevent any damage to the environment in the event of a fuel spill. We believe protecting the environment is a top priority and in an ever-changing climate it is more important than ever to take the necessary steps to make this happen. Some of the services we offer include:

  • Bund retrofits
  • Tank replacements
  • Fuel pipe work replacement
  • Fuel transfer system upgrades & replacements

Fuel Management

Our fuel management offerings include:

  • Remote level monitoring
  • Manual fuel deliveries (under 500 litres)
  • Tanker deliveries (greater than 500 litres)
  • Condition samples and lab analysis
  • Fuel polishing

Controls Modernisation

As generator control systems evolve and existing equipment becomes obsolete, the risk of extended down time increases.  In the event of a failure, sourcing parts becomes difficult and time consuming.  Keeping your control system current will ensure parts are readily available, minimising downtime.  Modern control systems offer increased functionality and reduce the chance of failure or fault as they are more resilient.

 We specialise in:

  • Replacement of obsolete/outdated control panels
  • Upgrading of control panels for enhanced functionality
  • Replacement of full power management systems
  • Modular control systems
  • PLC systems
  • Remote monitoring & control upgrades

Technical Support

Here to help, DTGen has a multi-disciplined and highly experienced team.  We can offer technical support covering a multitude of areas, such as:

  • Engines
  • Alternators
  • Cooling systems
  • Control systems
  • Fuel systems
