Using industry-leading technology and an online management tool, we have launched a remote control and monitoring package – Connect & Control – which provides access to generators and switchgear 24/7 across multiple applications from anywhere in the world.

Connect & Control remote monitoring uses the DSE 890 along with a 4G/GPS antenna and a SIM card to provide real time equipment monitoring.

Full access to the controls can be achieved if paired with a compatible DSE controller, including starting and stopping the generator set and control of breakers to select to run on generator or mains. Additionally, a fuel gauge can be added to monitor fuel, this can be set to alarm at different stages – particularly useful if you manage remote sites.

Fault and management alerts can be sent by text or email, or DTGen can receive alerts on your behalf and manage any issues as part of your service contract.

Connect & Control has many customisable features including user access, reporting, geo-fencing and asset tracking, maintenance scheduling and logging, as well as the ability to add company branding.

The software is available for desktop, tablet and mobile, is available on iOS and android devices, and works with a SIM card from any network provider, enabling the technology to be used globally.
