We have appointed David Oates as managing director, replacing Paul Moore who has been at the helm since 2004 and moves to the role of chairman.

With 20 years of experience in the generator industry, David joins from Pramac – Generac where he was managing director. Prior to this he was a director at Finning UK & Ireland, responsible for a team of 500 people across power systems (Finning/CAT, Damar, Rollo Power and Diperk).

Paul Moore, Chairman, said: “It’s been a very challenging time for the business throughout COVID, and our staff have coped admirably – supporting each other and the business to get through this difficult period.

As we look forward, we will be continuing to push ahead to achieve our vision of being the UK’s leading provider of backup power solutions. Having strategically re-branded last year to reflect the diversification of our product offering, our strategy is to continue supporting customers with our core offering as well as innovating and developing our gas-fuelled products to become better established throughout the UK.” 

He added: “We’re delighted that David is joining the business to support us achieve our long-term goals.”

Moore has moved to the role of chairman in order to oversee the business growth and development plans needed to drive this strategy forward.
