Power business surge in Manchester

We have secured new contracts worth in excess of £1m through a range of new infrastructure projects in and around Manchester.

Brian Muirie, Sales Director at DTGen, said: “We have been working across the Midlands and Northern England for many years, but it’s really encouraging to see the Manchester construction sector thriving.”

Most recently, we delivered the standby power solution to the impressive £650m ‘New Bailey’ mixed-use development that includes business, retail and leisure facilities linking Salford Central and Manchester.

Other recent completed projects include all seven plots at the city’s intriguing neighbourhood development, Circle Square; the high-profile office building, One Piccadilly Gardens in central Manchester, Manchester Airport; the award-winning leisure and work complex, Stockport Exchange; the iconic CIS Tower; the 20-acre NOMA project including Angel Gardens; and RBS in Southport.

Earlier this year, we opened an office in Birmingham and we are using this as a base to serve customers with a range specialist standby power solutions and supporting services including remote CPD throughout the pandemic.

DTGen works the length and breadth of the UK delivering resilient standby power solutions to a wide range of customers including banks, retail, data centres, hospitals and utilities, from single turnkey solutions to the most complex of projects.
