Southern Sales Manager

Location

Midlands

Based from our Midlands office, you will be responsible for developing and securing generator sales across England. Primarily concentrating on small to medium generators where the focus is on prompt execution from initial enquiry to award. The candidate is expected to contribute to the wider functions associated with an area office which could include assisting with more complex project sales and carrying out site visits. 

Sales

  • Identify new business opportunities.
  • Achieve or exceed the business’s annual and longer-term strategic objectives.
  • Engage with the company CRM ensuring a rigid approach to customer follow up
  • Act as key account manager for large capture accounts
  • Assist in the delivery of marketing campaigns

Analysis and Reporting

  • Gather business data and report on sales performance, weekly monthly, yearly. Capture Win/Loss analysis.
  • Ensuring all processes where appropriate are managed via Tesseract and BMS.
  • Working with the finance team to review profitability.

Collaboration - Continuous

  • Collaborate with other business departments to ensure we are optimising the overall DTGen customer solution.
  • Continually look for improved, more efficient ways of doing business.
  • Ad-hoc duties as and when required to meet the needs of the business.
  • Observe and demonstrate behaviours in line with the core values of the company.

Job Title

Parts Sales Co-ordinator

Location

Central / Northern England

Due to continued growth and portfolio expansion across the wider UK, we are looking for a Parts Sales Co-ordinator. A home-based role in central to northern England.

Role Description:

You will be tasked to sell diesel and gas engine parts as well as portable generators.

Primary Tasks:

  • Identify and onboard new customers
  • Build accounts and upsell to current customers
  • Meet targets and KPIs set
  • Identify and help implement new ways of winning business
  • This role will be home-based and will involve regular travel to customer sites throughout England and Wales.

Qualifications:

  • Dynamic and driven individual with at least 5 years of sales experience
  • Customer-facing skills and ability to work on own
  • Driven and focussed individual comfortable with owning a sales target
  • Full clean driving licence
  • Excellent IT skills

You will have:

  • Preferably an understanding of technical sales
  • A hunger for meeting and exceeding sales targets
  • First-class customer-facing skills
  • Good communication skills
  • Flexibility to meet requirements of business operations
  • Extensive experience of reciprocating natural gas engines

Generator Field Service Engineer - Scotland

Location

Scotland

 

Due to continued growth and investment, we are looking for experienced diesel generator service engineers.

Role Description:
You will be required to carry out planned servicing, repair, upgrades and breakdown response work at customer sites on generators from 10kVA – 2500kVA.

Senior Field Service Engineer opportunity available depending on experience.

Primary Tasks:
- Maintenance on generators to include all relevant electrical and mechanical testing
- Fault diagnosis and rectification
- Installation of temporary generators
- Participation in the company on-call rota
- Complete and submit accurate reports in a timely manner
- Assisting with installations and commissioning
- Site surveys to assist project sales
- Control system wiring

Qualifications:
- Served a recognised apprenticeship as a mechanical/electrical engineer
- Electrical engineering IEE regs - 17th Edition (beneficial)
- The ideal candidate will an experienced generator field service engineer with past exposure to FG Wilson, Perkins or similar 

You will have:
- Strong knowledge of all electrical and mechanical aspects of generator power installations
- First-class customer-facing skills
- Good communication skills
- No criminal record
- Flexibility to meet requirements of service operations.
- Relevant experience in a similar role

- Part P (beneficial)
