We are delighted to be supporting the new Prince & Princess of Wales Hospice in Bellahouston Park, Glasgow by providing a free maintenance plan for the 500kVA generator we supplied and installed last month.

Our experience in the healthcare sector means we are involved in some of the most incredible new projects – many of them saving and enhancing human life, and this is one right on our doorstep. The idea is to offer patients the quality of life they deserve, in a place that looks and feels like home, and where the clinical and medical assistance sits firmly in the background. The new hospice will also allow young people from the age of 16 years to be looked after here for the first time.

Anne Hattie, director of operations at the Prince & Princess of Wales Hospice, said: “The new hospice will lead the way in palliative care, offering an unrivalled standard of support to 1200 new patients and families every year in a purpose-built building. Our aim in designing this wonderful new facility has been to create an environment which assists wellbeing and fosters a sense of calm for the patients and families we support.
