We have been selected to supply and install a new 2,250 kVA standby generator to the state-of-the-art Oxford Biomedica manufacturing facility. 

From its Oxfordshire base, Oxford Biomedica delivers life-changing gene therapies to patients, and the production facilities require a resilient standby power solution to back-up the full site in case of a mains power failure.

The new generator and 10-hour fuel tank will be fully tested at our HQ then installed onsite by the end of October 2019.

We have an extensive track record of delivering mission-critical power in the health sector, supporting some of the UK’s largest health infrastructure developments in recent years, including more than 30 major NHS hospitals such as the Queen Elizabeth University Hospital in Glasgow, Royal Hospital for Children in Edinburgh, Northumbria Specialist Emergency Care Hospital in Cramlington and the new £64m health care facility in Orkney, as well as numerous other installations throughout the financial, transport and retail sectors.
