Scottish Water looks after Scotland's most precious natural resource. From source to tap, it is responsible for providing water and waste water services to household customers and wholesale licensed providers - trusted to keep us all supplied with world-class water and care for our environment every minute of every day.
About the project
DTGen has been a framework supplier to Scottish Water for more than fifteen years – supplying standby power generating equipment to more than 200 locations including various waste water treatment, ground water treatment, pumping stations and treatment works across the mainland and islands of Scotland, including Scottish Water’s head office ‘The Bridge’ on the outskirts of Glasgow.
The aftermarket team also supports the smooth running of the equipment that is in situ with annual servicing, oil changes, subsequent remedial work required as well as upgrading obsolete equipment such as control panels to ensure resilience.
Application
From 10kVA to 1500kVA, a wide variety of equipment is provided to Scottish Water sites – all to the stringent WIMES standard (water industry mechanical and electrical specification) which applies across UK, in addition to the Scottish Water standard specific compliance.
Why DTGen?
DTGen has the capacity and knowledge to support Scottish Water throughout the country, supplying the equipment required, backed up by the 24/7 engineering and technical support that is needed to keep the water at taps flowing.
